Can I use your art on my webpage?
Yes, for the most part I am perfectly ok with this, as long as you follow a couple rules:
1. No hotlinking! Please, just host the image on your own sever, it really drains my bandwidth if you link directly from my site.
2. Always give credit, and link back. Please only use watermarked images, as this reduces theft, and if they do get stolen, at least people will know where they came from. If the image contains someone else's character, please ask them as well.
3. These rules only apply to MY art. If there's something you like in the guest gallery, make sure you ask the ARTIST, not me, as I do not own the rights to artwork I did not create, and they are only displayed on my website after the original artist gives me permission.
4. Do not alter my images. This includes removing the watermark, cropping them, using them for icons, webdesign or banners (unless I created it specifically for you, in which case of course you may use it), recoloring, tracing etc. The only exeption to this rule would be coloring of lineart I have made available on my deviantArt and Furaffinity galleries, just make sure to read the descriptions first, as not all lineart is available for coloring.
Will you draw for me?
I do commissions, and sometimes participate in trades and exchanges, but I do not do requests. I do not have the time to draw for everyone who asks, and it wouldn't be fair to my commissioners if they had to pay for artwork and other people got it for free.
What media do you use?
Starting in high school I've mostly worked in watercolor, but over the last couple years I've started working with Prismacolor markers and Acrylic. I use graphite from time to time, but not often, and I almost never use digital programs. The media used on a particular painting (as well as the size and date created) will be noted under the image in the gallery.
Can I use your art for a tattoo design?
If it is an image I created for myself, chances are I'd be flattered if anyone actually wanted to permanently drill it into their flesh, but please ask first, if it's something I've drawn for someone else containing their characters you will need their permission as well.
Do you have any tutorials?
None at the moment, sorry. Hopefully I'll find the time to make one eventually, but before then I'd like to compile some tutorial links under the "recources" section of my Links page.
How long does it take you to finish a painting?
Small ACEOs can take anywhere from two to four hours, larger pieces like This usually take anywhere from ten to over twenty hours, depending on subject matter and detail level.
Are you a "furry"?
I guess it depends on your definition of furry. I have a "joke fursona" based on a nickname a friend gave me, but I mostly use it because it's more fun and more expressive when I'm doodling. I also like drawing and looking at some anthropormorphic art, but mainly because of my initial liking of fantasy and scifi art, and the challenge of combining human and animal characteristics is fun for me. In short, I suppose you could call me a furry, but I really don't feel any sort of close connection with anthropomorphic characters than I do to any other sort of fantasy creature, or any other subject I like.
What's with all the weird monster chicks you draw?
Usually this is because I enjoy drawing animals and effeminate things, and melding the two is an enjoyable challenge for me. Creating a bit of a contrast within a drawing or painting is also something I enjoy, hence some of the beautiful female bodies with more or less grotesque animal faces I like to paint from time to time.
